Troubleshooting Of Oil Filter

The common faults of the oil filter unit are the damage of the filter plate and the spraying between the filter plates. The following is a separate analysis for different faults:

(1) The filter plate is damaged and advanced

Damage to the filter plate of the chamber filter press is a common fault. If the number of damaged filter plates is large, the following factors should be analyzed:

① The manufacturing quality of the filter plate;

② Whether the selection of filter plate material matches the head of the feed pump;

③ In the diaphragm pressing method, the volume of the diaphragm oil filter and the processing quality of the internal steel lining should be considered at the same time.

Under normal conditions, the pressure on both sides of the filter plate is in equilibrium. When the two sides of the filter plate are in different filtration stages, that is, one side is filtering and the other side is hydraulic squeezing, a pressure difference is formed on both sides of the filter plate, which damages the filter plate. The reason:

① During the unloading process, the amount of mud remaining on both sides of the filter plate varies greatly;

② After the filter press starts to filter, the feed pump stops for a long time, and the filter cake in the semi-flow state in the filter chamber sinks to different degrees;

③ The feed hole of the filter plate is blocked.

(2) Spraying between the filter plates

During the filtering operation of the automatic vacuum oil filter, material spraying occurs between the filter plates. The reasons are:

① On the pressing surface of the filter plate frame, the filter cloth is folded;

② The filter cloth is damaged;

③ The beams on both sides have different degrees of lateral bending (horizontal direction);

④ The thrust plate is not pressed tightly or the pressing force of the hydraulic cylinder is too small.

The solution is to carefully clean the residual filter cake on the pressing surface of the filter plate (especially the lower part) when unloading, or rinse the filter plate in time to ensure the cleanliness of the pressing surface of the filter plate; bundle the filter cloth to ensure its flatness.
