Enhanced Strength Perforated Plate Sintered Mesh

The enhanced strength perforated plate sintered mesh combines the mechanical strength of the perforated plate with the high filtration accuracy of the sintered mesh. The perforated plate acts as a support skeleton to provide sufficient mechanical strength and stability; multiple layers of square mesh or dense mesh are superimposed on it to achieve the required filtration accuracy and flux requirements.

Material selection

The basic material of enhanced strength perforated plate sintered mesh is usually stainless steel, such as 304, 316L and other models. This is because stainless steel not only has excellent corrosion resistance, but also can maintain stable physical and chemical properties over a wide temperature range. In addition, according to special application requirements, high-performance materials such as nickel-based alloys and titanium alloys may also be selected to meet the filtration challenges in extreme environments. Structural design

1. Support frame: perforated plate

As the supporting frame of the composite sintered mesh, the perforated plate is mainly responsible for carrying the filter layer and maintaining the stability of the overall structure. Its design needs to consider factors such as hole type (circular, square, diamond, etc.), pore size, opening rate and plate thickness to meet the specific fluid passing capacity and mechanical strength requirements. The hole type and layout of the perforated plate directly affect the uniform distribution and overall filtration efficiency of the subsequent filter layer.

2. Filter layer: sintered mesh

The sintered mesh layer is the key to achieving high-precision filtration. By sintering ultrafine metal powder or metal wire mesh at high temperature, a dense and uniform porous structure is formed. The sintering process can control the pore size and distribution, thereby accurately adjusting the filtration accuracy. According to application requirements, the sintered mesh can be designed as a single-layer or multi-layer structure. Different combinations of mesh size (mesh size) and number of layers of each layer can meet a wide range of needs from coarse filtration to ultra-precision filtration.

Manufacturing process

1. Pretreatment

The raw materials are cut, leveled, cleaned and other pretreatment steps to ensure a clean and flawless surface in preparation for subsequent processes.

2. Layer assembly

The perforated plate is used as the bottom layer, and metal wire meshes of different mesh sizes are laid on it in sequence according to the design requirements to form a multi-layer structure. The layers must be well aligned and leveled.

3. Sintering

The assembled multi-layer structure is placed in a sintering furnace and heated to a temperature below the melting point of the metal under vacuum or protective atmosphere. The diffusion and bonding between metal particles are used to form an integrated porous body. This process requires precise control of temperature, time and pressure to ensure uniform sintering of each layer to avoid deformation and structural damage.

4. Post-processing

The sintered composite mesh also needs to go through cutting, edge processing, surface treatment and other steps to achieve the final size requirements and surface finish. In some applications, heat treatment or chemical passivation treatment is also required to enhance its corrosion resistance.
