Working principle

1. Filtration stage

- The piston on the upper part of the filter element holder presses the discs.

- Water enters through the water inlet.

- The water flow passes through the centrifugal disc, and the centrifugal force of the water flow throws large-particle impurities on the inner wall and concentrates them on the top of the filter unit. The water carrying a small amount of impurities is then filtered through the discs, which reduces the cleaning frequency of the discs and achieves the effect of saving water.

- The water carrying fewer impurities continues to enter the deep filtration through the gap between the compressed discs, and the filtered clean water flows out of the disc lumen to the water outlet.

2. Backwash stage

- Backwash water flow (filtered pressurized water) is sucked from the lower water outlet of the filter element holder. The piston on the upper part of the filter element holder is lifted up, and the discs are loosened.

- The backwash water flow is sprayed from the small holes on the filter element holder cylinder to the scattered discs, causing the discs to rotate laterally and vibrate vertically. During the rapid rotation of the discs, the water flow thoroughly cleans the discs from the inside out, and finally the cleaning water is discharged from the sewage outlet.

- After the backwash is completed, the piston is reset, the discs are pressed, and a new round of filtration is started.
