How it works

The working principle of the high cleaning efficiency horizontal self-cleaning filter is based on the physical filtration and automatic cleaning process. Its core part is a filter screen made of stainless steel or other corrosion-resistant materials. Water enters the inside of the filter cartridge from the water inlet, impurities are intercepted on the surface of the filter screen, and clean water flows out of the water outlet through the filter screen.

 

When impurities accumulate on the filter screen to a certain extent, the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet will increase. Once this pressure difference reaches a preset value, or reaches a predetermined cleaning time, or manually triggers the cleaning process through the control system, the self-cleaning filter will start the cleaning program.

 

The cleaning process is as follows:

1. The motor drives a brush to rotate, which is close to the inside of the filter screen.

2. The rotation of the brush sweeps away the impurity particles trapped on the filter screen.

3. At the same time, the control system will open the sewage valve, allowing the brushed impurities to be discharged from the filter along with the water flow.

4. The cleaning process typically lasts for tens of seconds to a few minutes.

5. After cleaning, the sewage valve is closed, the motor stops running, the filter returns to the filtration state, and the water filtration continues.
