Production process

1. Select raw materials. Choose different specifications or types of stainless steel wire, usually including 304, 316L and other materials.

2. Woven into a mesh. The stainless steel wire is made into a wire mesh through a weaving process, and the mesh number (pore size) of each layer of wire mesh is different to meet different filtration requirements.

3. Laminated assembly. Stack five layers of wire mesh together in a specific order to form a laminated structure.

4. Preforming. Place the stacked wire mesh into the mold for preforming to ensure stability during the sintering process.

5. Sintering. The preformed structure is placed in a sintering furnace and heated to a high temperature (usually above 1000°C) in a vacuum or protective atmosphere, causing the metal surface to melt and fuse with each other to form a whole.

6. Cooling and post-processing. After sintering is completed, the sintered body is slowly cooled and necessary post-processing is carried out, such as shaping, polishing, etc.

 

Cleaning and regeneration

The high strength 5 layer sintered stainless steel wire mesh may be blocked by filtered impurities after a period of use, thus affecting its filtration effect. At this time, the sintered mesh needs to be cleaned and regenerated. Common cleaning methods include:

- Backwash. Use water or gas to rush into the sintering net from the opposite direction to wash away attached impurities.

- Ultrasonic cleaning. Utilize the shock generated by ultrasonic waves to peel and remove impurities.

- Chemical cleaning. Use the appropriate chemical reagent to dissolve or loosen the dirt attached to the sintered net.
