Sintered Powder Metal Filter Element

The sintered powder metal filter element uses metal powder as raw material without adding adhesives. It is made by high temperature vacuum sintering after forming by cold isostatic pressing. By selecting the particle size and process parameters of metal powder, the pore size and distribution of the components can be adjusted. Based on pore structure, material composition, compressive strength of different filter materials, the filter product that is suitable for users' needs is developed.

The sintered powder metal filter element can achieve precise filtration at the micron level. It can separate solid particle impurities in liquids and gases. When the fluid passes through the filter element with a certain precision, the impurities are blocked on the surface of the filter element to form a filter cake, and the pure fluid flows out through the filter element, so that the contaminated or containing impurities of the fluid is cleaned to the required state for normal production, so as to ensure that downstream devices obtain pure products or protect the normal operation of equipment.

When the filter cake on the surface of the sintered powder metal filter element reaches a certain thickness, the filter element can, because of its high-strength performance, be backwashed through a certain reverse pressure. The filter element is cleaned and thus can be used again.
